July 28 - Project 4

Making an iMovie was so fun! I really enjoyed organizing my pictures that I had taken throughout this course. I spent a ton of time picking just the right ones and I am happy with how my iMovie turned out. I found the program fairly easy to navigate through and the Help section was easy to understand and follow. I was frustrated when I thought that I was finished and then my sound disappeared. Then I realized that I had closed out of iTunes! I knew the programs were interconnected, but I guess it took this experience to realize it for myself. Once I opened iTunes back up, my iMovie had sound again. I am really hoping that we have iMovie on our Mac's at school...I think students would really enjoy organizing their photographs like this. I would probably use iMovie to reward those students who finish early when we are working. It would be a great way to showcase photos we have taken from sports, field trips, etc. Maybe I could use this program to get students interested in the yearbook...tease them with some of the photos that will be in the yearbook. If we ever buy a Mac, this would be a great way to show how much Caleigh has grown...and it takes a lot less time than scrap booking!!!!

  1. So true about so much less time than scrapbooking! Something to consider... Thinking about Christmas presents for the grandparents. :)
Like your idea about using it as a reward. The students will love it!
